With the critical place of DNS as an essential service on the Internet and as organizations get helped to deploy IPv6, it has been found that their DNS is not configured correctly as there are also many security and privacy issues that engineers and the community at large are unaware of.
In this regard, AFRINIC and PCH are jointly organising a two-part DNS webinar series, according to an information from Marketing and PR Manager at the African Network Information Center (AFRINIC), Susan Otieno. The webinar series will hold via Zoom as follow:

* DNS Security and Privacy – August 27, 2020
As part of the first webinar the organizer will:
* Describe how the components of DNS work together to provide DNS service.
* Examine how to design and deploy authoritative DNS servers and resolvers.
* Understand the role of anycast in DNS.
