Registration has now opened for the next in the popular series of webinars exploring TMT policy and regulatory responses to COVID-19, organized by International Institute of Communications(IIC). This time around, IIC is focusing on Latin America(LATAM), a statement from its Director-General, Lynn Robinson says.
The virtual event holds on Tuesday, 20 October 2020, 0900 CDT / 1000 EDT / 1500 BST / 2200 SGT.
“We first looked at the responses of this region back in April, in association with the IADB, and we are excited to welcome a new panel of senior leaders from the region to discuss how government and industry have been working together to guarantee continuity of essential services, protect lives and reduce the negative impact on the economy; but also to learn lessons and better plan for digital transformation post pandemic,” says Ms Robinson.
With a keynote panel representing ministries from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Peru, coupled with insight from major telcos and content players in the region, the IIC says it is looking forward to lively discussion and debate, to be moderated by:
