NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant on Tuesday, 22 December, launched DigiBoxx – India’s first digital file storage, sharing and management product for businesses and individual users.
The platform is available on desktop, Android and iOS platforms. It consists of a file-sharing feature named ‘InstaShare’ that enables users to share, large-sized documents, high-resolution images, videos, PDFs in real quick time by registering on the app.
“This is indigenous innovation at its best. I have always maintained that the Indian tech industry can be globally competitive in all aspects and DigiBoxx is such an example. It ticks all the rights boxes for India Inc’s needs but also fills a gap for the MSME universe which is untapped,” Kant said while launching this product virtually.
India’s telecom sector, in the efforts of enabling policies including more quantum of the spectrum, is set to establish new benchmarks in the next-generation network deployments and service delivery.
“I am hopeful that this is the beginning of many more such innovations by Indian startups aligned towards the vision of an Atma Nirbhar Bharat. Our dependence on foreign SaaS products will soon be a thing of the past and Digital India will get a boost with such intuitive solutions,” he added.
DigiBoxx is founded by a tech startup promoted by Arnab Mitra, MD, LIQVD ASIA along with Ashish Jalan and Vivek Suchanti, Concept Group.
DigiBoxx offers a free and paid version of individual users. The free version of the service offers up to 20GB space of storage and the maximum file size which can be uploaded is 2GB. However, it is only limited to one user.
The paid version, which starts at an affordable ₹30 per month offers up to 2TB storage space and the maximum file size which can be uploaded is 10GB. https://telecom.economictimes.indiatimes.com
