Homegrown Moxpert Launches Trusme Feature Phone Series In India

Homegrown firm Moxpert on Thursday launched its ‘Trusme’ series of feature phones in India, comprising T1, T57, T75, R300(US$20.53), and R75 devices.

Homegrown firm Moxpert on Thursday launched its ‘Trusme’ series of feature phones in India, comprising T1, T57, T75, R300, and R75. These feature phones come with features such as dual SIM support, durable battery, music and video player, wireless FM, Bluetooth, torch, and auto-call recording, among others.

Initially, the brand will offer the range of new feature phones in the states Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana. Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jammu, Gujarat, and Maharashtra. These states will be serviced by an after-sales network of more than 700 service centers. The company further plans to expand in other parts of the country, too.

All the phones are made in India and are targeted at tier-2, 3, and rural areas where there is significant demand for feature phones.

“Trusme is a technology & consumer product brand focussed on Semi-urban, Tier-2, and onwards markets. Apart from mobile phones, we are also planning to foray into the electronic and consumer durable segment. Our mission is to bring high technology, superior and trustworthy products at an affordable price for people. We are determined to change the perception of product quality that is Made in India,” said MD, Moxpert (parent company of Trusme), Pankaj Anand.

“The initial response by the dealers and distributors has been encouraging and we have already started our operations in 10 states and are also going to enter other markets soon. Our distribution and service network are already operational and we will be adding more categories into our portfolio in the coming year,” said Head Sales, Trusme, Rakesh Bhatia.

India’s telecom sector, in the efforts of enabling policies including more quantum of the spectrum, is set to establish new benchmarks in the next-generation network deployments and service delivery.

The company is also planning to foray into the audio accessories segment and is planning to launch audio and mobile accessories brands targeted at the youth and urban users segment. https://telecom.economictimes.indiatimes.com
