Convinced that the emergence of connected cities and data-driven nations is making planning and decision-making easier at the global level as validated by different studies that have ranked Africa low in adopting technology to build a safe, secure, and sustainable economy and persuaded that at the heart of the technology driving innovation is data and citizens engagement and converted that in transforming the nation to meet future demand, requires technology adoption to create a more sustainable and liveable present and secure future for our citizens and propelled by the fierce urgency to change previous approach and challenge the status quo and increase the quest for innovation leveraging research and development making self-evident the need to develop effective strategies to achieve a smart, secure, and sustainable Nation, the Nigeria Computer Society(NCS) is rallying stakeholders to an International Conference Smart, Secure & Sustainable Nation codenamed “S3N 2022”.
As per the NCS, the government, the citizens, and the business environment must invest in relevant technologies to compete in the global space-an approach requireing the right team with new mindsets and skills. “S3N’22“ will bring together policymakers within the government, business leaders, members of academia, professionals, and practitioners to deliberate on broad social, economic, and technology trends relevant to the development and sustainability of our nation.
The Conference takes place from 2nd – 4th August, 2022 at the June 12 Cultural Centre, Abeokuta, Ogun State, south west, Nigeria.
Throwing light on the Scope and Topics of the Conference, the NCS says: “We, therefore, welcome authors and speakers to be part of the S3N’22 – The 2022 International Conference on Smart, Secure and Sustainable Nation, scheduled to hold from the 2nd to 4th of August 2022 at the June 12 Cultural Centre, Kuto, Abeokuta, Ogun State Nigeria.
Authors can now submit articles that present research results, innovative projects and industrial experiences that describe the significant strategy in developing the next-generation digital economy relating to the theme and sub-themes.

Instructions to Authors:
Authors are to submit full papers in English on original work intended for presentation at the conference. Only full papers submitted through easychair will be considered. Please use the link https://easychair.org/cfp/S3N2022 to submit your paper.
Paper submission must include full details of authors (names, addresses, and e-mails) and their affiliations. All Papers should not be more than 4,000 words, single-spaced in Times New Roman with 12 point font size using the American Psychological Association (APA) referencing style 7th Edition
Where there are multiple authors, at least one author must pre-register to qualify for inclusion of the paper in conference proceedings.
Accepted papers may be considered for publication in International Journals, including the Journal of Computer Science and Its Applications; and the International Journal of Information Security, Privacy and Digital forensics published biannually by Nigeria Computer Society.
Selected papers will be published in a recognised book series, indexed by SCOPUS, WoS, Google Scholar, SCImago, among others, and will be available in the SpringerLink Digital Library.
All approved papers for presentation will be in NCS supported PowerPoint (.ppt) presentation format which will be communicated to Authors of approved papers.
All submitted papers will be peer-reviewed by qualified reviewers. The authors are requested to submit their original and unpublished work in full not later than March 31, 2022
Authors are advised to employ the IMRaD (Introduction, Methodology, Results and Discussion) format for their papers.
Authors are also advised to check the plagiarism status of their papers before submission. Note that the maximum acceptable similarity index for the papers in this Conference is 15 per cent.
All submitted papers must be previously unpublished and may not be considered for review or publication somewhere else during the period at which such articles are undergoing NCS review.
