Money20/20 Europe Celebrates Its 6th Show As The Heartbeat Of The Global Fintech Ecosystem
Money20/20, Europe’s leading fintech show where communities come together to do business and shape the future of the industry, concluded with more than 6,500 attendees, from 90+ countries and over 350 speakers in attendance. Six stages focused on discussing the industry’s most pressing challenges and opportunities, featuring the biggest names in financial services alongside the industry’s most innovative and fastest-growing fintech start-ups.
Highlights included the Co-Founder and President of Stripe, John Collison, taking to the stage to talk experiences and valuations, Tink’s Kjellén announcing two new partnerships with Revolut and Dutch payments provider Adyen during their first joint session with Visa since the acquisition, Blockchain.com’s CEO Peter Smith discussing how the crypto winter that started 9-months ago, a deep dive into the UK’s first retail-led digital sterling pilot project and OnlyFans sharing how it “broke the internet” with a u-turn on content creation.
Money20/20 Europe is the show where the rock stars of fintech come together to do business and develop new strategies and partnerships that will power the global economy through challenging times. With over 14,500 meetings taking place during the three-day event, an increase of 107 per cent compared to 2021, doing business took a central role, as the industry looks for ways to innovate and drive growth. While business was the clear focus, the renowned networking parties were back in full swing with the dedicated Money20/20 festival – Money in the Park, in the Het Amsterdamse Bos National Forrest and the legendary street party – Money Street Fest on Reguliersdwarsstraat.

Money20/20 has also long advocated that women should have a louder voice in financial services and since the inception of RiseUp in 2018, more than 250 women have participated in the programme. In support of this, 43 per cent of the speakers at Money20/20 Europe this year were female subject matter experts, an increase from 38 per cent in 2021.
