By Andy Fry

Haivision, a leading global provider of mission-critical, real-time video networking and visual collaboration solutions, has appointed Jean-Marc Racine as chief product officer effective January 2, 2023. Racine, who previously held the same post at Synamedia (2018-2020), brings 25 years of market and product expertise to the firm.

Commenting on his move, Racine said Haivision has established a reputation for creating market leading products with quality, low-latency, and mission criticality at its core. “I am delighted to join a fantastic leadership team and work closely with our customers to create solutions that benefit their own transformation,” he said.

In parallel with Racine’s arrival, the company has reorganised its product development teams to unlock synergies related to its most recent acquisitions. The company also made the following appointments to support the consolidation of its development and product realisation efforts: Ronan Poullaouec to SVP, engineering; Paul Singh to SVP DevSecOps, quality engineering; and Mariano Converti to VP, engineering, cloud. As part of the reshuffle, Mahmoud Al-Daccak, chief technology officer and EVP product development, has decided to leave Haivision after 12 years at the company.

“Haivision continues to be laser focused in leading the highest value segments for high performance video-centric networks,” expressed president and CEO of Haivision, Mirko Wicha. “Our development teams have been aligned to address the opportunities and challenges ahead of us and are poised to execute together under Jean-Marc.”
