Disney Streaming CTO Quits After Firm Announces 7,000 Job Cuts

Walt Disney’s streaming services’ CTO Jeremy Doig quit the firm days after Disney announced it
would lay off 7,000 employees, as per an internal note.
“I have been informed that effective immediately…Doig is no longer with the company,” Disney
Streaming’s Mike Hanley wrote.
Disney announced the job cuts as part of an effort to save US$5.5 billion in costs.
