The Jersey-headquartered global macro hedge fund firm, Brevan Howard has continued its recent hiring spree with the appointment of Subhek Garg, a former managing director at Goldman Sachs, as its new chief technology officer based in the firm’s New York office.

Garg spent 16 years in total at Goldman, according to his LinkedIn profile, having joined the firm in January 2007 as an application developer focused on equity derivatives, before working his way up to managing director (wealth engineering) which made him the global head of engineering for PWM capital markets, managed strategies, equity structuring, alternative investments, and digital assets.
Earlier this month, Brevan Howard appointed Owen Coughlan, the former head of euro swaps trading at NatWest Markets, as a portfolio manager based in London, while in February, the $26 billion firm appointed Murray Coalville, a former vice president at Nomura, to head up its systematic operations.
