The Best African Startups In ClimateTech, HealthTech, And FinTech Will Be Shown At #VivaTech2023

Even though there was a lack of funding worldwide in 2022, African startups collected more money than they had in previous years.
Africa’s tech ecosystem continues to draw attention worldwide because of its smart tech entrepreneurs. These entrepreneurs are building clean-tech solutions to climate change and making digital platforms that give underbanked and unbanked people access to healthcare and financial services.
After the first version of the AfricaTech Awards was a success last year, one of Europe’s biggest tech and startup events, VivaTech, is teaming up with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) for the second edition of the awards to show off the best in African tech.
The AfricaTech Awards are made to honour and help innovative startups in three important categories: Climate Tech, Health Tech, and Fintech. These startups can show off their ground-breaking ideas and help the continent’s tech scene grow.
After a tough selection process, this year’s finalists are nine outstanding startups. Next week, they can show off their ground-breaking ideas at the AfricaTech Award ceremony at VivaTech 2023 in Paris, France.
