Rootstock Software Appoints Robert Rostamizadeh As Chief Technology Officer
A recognized leader in the Manufacturing Cloud ERP space, Rootstock Software has announced the appointment of Robert Rostamizadeh to the newly formed position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). We look forward to welcoming Robert to our growing team to help fuel our ongoing innovations and better serve our customers.”
“Robert’s appointment as CTO reflects his outstanding track record and expertise in engineering, as well as his deep understanding of the business side of technology,” said Interim CEO and Executive Chairman of the Board at Rootstock Software Jeff Ralyea. “His passion for leading strong engineering teams, coupled with his ability to navigate complex business challenges, has made him the ideal choice to lead our ambitious technology initiatives. “It’s an honor to be joining Rootstock at such an exciting time as the company navigates an aggressive growth phase with its futureproof ERP solution,” added Rostamizadeh. “Built on the Salesforce Platform, Rootstock Manufacturing Cloud ERP has a significant advantage in unifying data silos. As such, our product and engineering team can remain focused on developing and delivering the functionality that matters most to manufacturers—and not on data integration.”
With over 15 years of experience in software engineering leadership, Rostamizadeh plans to institute a more agile development methodology with the goal to enhance product quality, increase transparency, and more efficiently deliver value to customers.
Prior to Rootstock, Rostamizadeh was Executive Vice President of Engineering at Smarsh, where he led all aspects of engineering for the SMB Business Unit, which included its market-leading hybrid-cloud communications compliance and archiving solution and cybersecurity products. Before that, he worked at CDK Global, where he ran core engineering for the company’s flagship Dealer Management System (DMS), which has many similarities to ERP solutions in complexity and capabilities. Before taking on team leadership roles, Rostamizadeh spent time as an Engineer and Architect at CDK Global. Earlier in his career, he held various engineering and leadership roles at Huron Consulting Group, in the healthcare software industry.
