Chiraag Shah is an international disputes partner in the London office of Morrison Foerster. Chiraag has over 2 decades of experience representing clients in domestic and cross-border disputes including commercial and investor-state arbitrations around the world. Chiraag also has significant experience of cross-border multi-jurisdictional commercial litigation, sanctions related disputes as well as the enforcement of judgments and arbitral awards around the world. Chiraag’s clients include multinational corporations in the technology, telecoms, entertainment, infrastructure, manufacturing and aviation sectors, investment funds, among others.
Chiraag is head of Morrison Foerster’s Africa desk and has a particular focus on Africa and the Middle East. He is dual-qualified (Kenya and England and Wales) and practiced in Kenya for several years before relocating to the UK, allowing him to bring unique on-the-ground experience of doing business in and resolving disputes in the East African region.
