In just nine months since its launch, Victorian-based ClimTech startup VoltaRocks, a proud LaunchVic and Startupbootcamp alumnus, is rapidly gaining momentum. The company will initiate multiple pilot programmes as we enter a critical year, collaborating closely with climate action community groups and local governments. These pilots are designed to empower and support their members and residents in innovative and engaging ways to combat climate change.

As Australia’s first startup to leverage the CDR open energy initiative, VoltaRocks offers a unique, transparent service that evolves monthly. The startup is dedicated to helping households set practical energy goals and discover the best rebates and grants for home upgrades in 2024.

VoltaRocks’ mission is anchored in three fundamental pillars:

1. Transparency: VoltaRocks believes your energy data is yours, irrespective of the retailer. With our upcoming 2.0 release, users can access their data from over 20+ retailers.

2. Access to Information: Amidst a plethora of websites and data, VoltaRocks’ AI engine personalises solutions, helping users understand better plans and rebates, thus fueling their sustainable journey with informed choices.

3. Community Focus: At our core, we are committed to supporting community groups, associations, and local governments in their climate action efforts. VoltaRocks is a crucial tool for these organizations to disseminate information about programmes and projects within user communities.
