IBM Federal Senior Partner, CTO

Former Octo chief technology officer, Sujey Edward,announced via LinkedIn that he has joined IBM’s federal business as CTO and senior partner.
His expertise encompasses software development, defense technology and agriculture and environment.
Edward worked at Octo, an IBM company, for more than seven years. Prior to that, he was part of Salient CRGT, now GovCIO, as director of energy IT solutions and later vice president of its agile innovation center.
From 2004 to 2007, Edward served as project support manager and customer liaison at Science Applications International Corp.
Aside from his full-time position, he also serves on the board of advisers at Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business – Business Information Technology.
