Signals reaching our newsroom from The Royal Media Group,  indicate that ‘all is now set’ for the first edition of the Lagos Motor Show(LMS), built for the  Main Arena of Tafawa Balewa Square(TBS) Onikan, Lagos, south west Nigeria. The Royal Media Group are the organizers of the event, holding from Friday, February 16 to Saturday, February 17, 2024.

At a Press Conference Thursday, February 8, 2024, held at The LargeHouse, Maryland, Lagos, to herald the event,  Chairman And Chief Promoter Of Lagos Motor Show Engr. Gbenga Adebayo hinted that “We are the organizers of the Lagos Motor Show, an exhibition that will showcase Modern, Classic, Vintage Cars, Eco Friendly EV, Robotics and autonomous vehicles, Electric –Tricycles and E-mobility.”

Royalty, top politicians, diplomats, car enthusiasts and their families, purchasers, decision makers and dealers are among the 2000+ that will grace the LMS and showcase classic cars evoking ‘nostalgia’ and also highlight the latest trends and innovations in the automotive industry.

According to Engr. Adebayo, who doubles as the Chairman of the Association of Licensed Telecommunications Operators of Nigeria(ALTON): “His Excellency the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwolu will be the Chief Host, and the Executive Governors of Kwara States and Chairman of Nigeria Governors Forum, His Excellency, Gov. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq will be the Special Guest of Honour, other Dignitaries expected at the event includes the Governors of Kaduna, Niger, Katsina, Bauchi and Jigawa States.

Chief Olu Okeowo, Founder and Chairman of Gibraltar Constructions Company limited, a Car enthusiast, is also expected among other dignitaries.

His Royal Highness, Barrister Mohammed Sanni Haliru Dantoro CFR. Kitoro IV. (Mai Borgu), The Emir of Borgu Kingdom, Niger State will be the Royal Father of the event.

“Motor companies, Motor Boat Companies, Car Collectors, Transport Logistics companies will be at the event. The event will be an exciting opportunity to bring together car enthusiasts and their families, purchasers, decision makers and dealers.

Our aim is that the show will be an annual event that will attract thousands of automotive enthusiasts, industry professionals, and media representatives.
