In a recent collaboration with Intelsat, a leading global satellite service provider, PNCC has successfully upgraded its satellite back-up capacity.
This enhancement, Cyber Era NG gathers, provides a more dependable back-up system to keep a larger number of Internet users connected in case of any disruptions to our primary international link through Palau’s undersea fiber optic cable.
While the submarine fiber optic connection is known for its reliability, our aim is to maintain uninterrupted international connectivity for Palau, making an alternative satellite back-up service essential.

On Monday, February 26, there was signing ceremony between PNCC and PCAA (Palau Community Action Agency) for a new project to connect all Headstart centers with high-speed internet.
Based on the RFP issued by PCAA which was awarded to PNCC, we will design and implement a wide area network to connect all ten remote Headstart centers, including 19 classrooms, to the PCAA central office, with a wireless internet network in each location.
Headstart locations include: Ngarchelong, Ngaraard, Melekeok, Airai, Ngeremlengui, Ngermid, Ngerbeched, Medalaii, Meyuns, and Peleliu.
