EBRD Literature Prize 2024 Awards Ceremony And Reception Loading!

The winner of the EBRD Literature Prize 2024 will be announced at an awards ceremony and reception to be held at the EBRD headquarters, 5 Bank Street, London E14 4BG, and attended by finalist authors, translators and judges on June 13, 2024.

This year’s finalists are:

  • The End by Attila Bartis, translated from the Hungarian by Judith Sollosy and published by Archipelago Books
  • The Wounded Age and Eastern Tales by Ferit Edgü, translated from the Turkish by Aron Aji and published by New York Review Books
  • Barcode by Krisztina Tóth, translated from the Hungarian by Peter Sherwood and published by Jantar Publishing

The independent judges are: award-winning writer and critic, Maya Jaggi (chair); novelist and translator, Maureen Freely; and author and professor of international law, Philippe Sands. 

The ceremony will start promptly at 18.00. Attendees are advised to arrive at least 15 minutes beforehand to clear security. Photo ID is required.
