Experience Freedom: iFLY Sydney Offers Free Indoor Skydiving For All Abilities On Dec 3 With Ambassador Greg Pinson
By Julius Ewudo, ASEAN Region Representative
This December 3rd, iFLY Downunder in Sydney is celebrating the International Day of People with Disability (IDPWD) by offering 30 free indoor skydiving flights to people of all abilities. Sydney-based Greg Pinson, iFLY’s All Abilities Ambassador, will be at the heart of the celebration, sharing his inspiring journey of resilience, adventure, and the importance of accessible experiences.
Diagnosed with spina bifida, Greg has never let physical challenges stand in the way of his passion for adventure. After transitioning to a wheelchair in 2020, he sought new ways to experience life’s thrills and found a perfect fit with iFLY Downunder’s inclusive indoor skydiving. “I wanted to prove to myself that I could still enjoy high-energy activities despite being in a wheelchair,” Greg reflects. “That first flight brought me the exhilaration and freedom I was searching for, and I was instantly hooked.”
Entertainment Marketing Manager Holly Jaadla explains how Greg’s journey reflects iFLY’s dedication to accessibility: “Greg’s story is a powerful reminder of the joy and freedom that accessible adventures can bring. We’re proud to have him as our ambassador, as he continues to inspire others to challenge boundaries and embrace new experiences.”
To honour IDPWD, iFLY Downunder (Sydney) will offer 30 complimentary flights in its state-of-the-art wind tunnel, designed to welcome individuals with mobility or sensory needs. Interested participants can register through the official IDPWD page at ifly.com.au/idpwd to secure a free flight on a first-come, first-served basis.
