Communications advocacy body, the International Institute of Communications(IIC) is looking forward to the IIC’s UK Chapter meeting in a few weeks time. To be hosted by Squire Patton Boggs, the meeting will take place on Wednesday, November 15, in London even as it has released the latest list of speakers for the event.
According to the Director-General of IIC, Lynn Robinson, the issues on the agenda include:
- Update on progress on the establishment of the DMU within the CMA
- To discuss the proposals in the Digital Markets and Consumer bill regarding payments from digital platforms to news content providers.
Further speakers will be announced over the coming days. The ones confirmed so far include:
