Speakers have been confirmed with one week remaining until the International Institute of Communications(IIC’s) Brussels Chapter meeting, taking place on Tuesday, November 28, in Brussels. The meeting is to be hosted by McDermott Will & Emery and supported by Liberty Global.
Following a heads-up from the Director-General of IIC, Lynn Robinson, Cyber Era NG understands that discussions will be around the Event topic: A competitive European connectivity market – what’s the future outlook for telecom policy beyond 2024.
“This meeting will aim to discuss how the importance of creating a regulatory framework, that supports innovation in the telecom sector and delivers benefit to consumers, has come to the forefront of the EU’s digital agenda during the current mandate of the European Commission,” stated Ms. Robinson.
The confirmed speakers include:
- Head of Unit – Electronic Communications Policy, Implementation and Enforcement, European Commission, Peter Stuckmann
- Senior Vice President and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Liberty Global, Manuel Kohnstamm
- Policy Manager for Space and Spectrum, Access, Partnership, Lea Pavlovic
- Chairman of the Council, Belgian Institute for Postal Services and Telecommunications (BIPT) Michel Van Bellinghen
- Data Privacy Advisor, McDermott Will & Emery, Matúš Huba
