The Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy(FMoCIDE) is committed to diversifying the national economy, under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,  through the deployment of technology.

Director General, National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Mallam Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, stated this recently while delivering a welcome address at the High-Level BSI Digital Policy Workshop themed: “Digital Transformation Built: International Trust”.

Mallam Inuwa gave insight on how the Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy was heeding to President’s directive to diversify the economy through technology.

To achieve this effectively, Abdullahi said it was essential to foster collaboration within the digital economy ecosystem to develop robust international and global standard guidelines and framework because standards could not be achieved in isolation.
