US: OFCCP Launches New And Improved Tools

By Godson Umejiego, Correspondent US

The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programmes (OFCCP) has revamped its site and launched two new modernized tools:

National Pre-Award Registry lists contractors that were found to be in compliance with their equal employment opportunity obligations during scheduled OFCCP compliance evaluations in the last two years. Federal contracting officers use the registry during the contracting process. The Pre-Award Registry site is updated daily and will allow users to:

  • Search by company, name, and state.
  • Export the search results as a Microsoft Excel file.
  • Access the Pre-Award Registry from the OFCCP website, allowing users to seamlessly navigate between OFCCP webpage content and tools.

VEVRAA Hiring Benchmark Database provides federal contractors a more streamlined way to identify their VEVRAA Hiring Benchmarks each year for their affirmative action programme. This site update will allow users to:

  • Find all datasets from a single webpage.
  • Access the VEVRAA Hiring Benchmark database from the OFCCP website, allowing users to seamlessly navigate between OFCCP webpage content and tools.

The modernized design for these tools also improves accessibility for individuals who are blind or have low vision.
