Palau National Communications Corporation(PNCC) has donated towards the successful hosting of The Palau 2024 Fintech Conference scheduled to take place on July 24-25, 2024 at the West Plaza Hotel, Lebuu Street, Cyber Era NG learns.
We gather that PNCC has provided sponsorship support of US$100 Airtime to be used as prizes for participants in the eSports event on July 24.
The Palau 2024 Fintech Conference, organized by the Ministry of Finance, aims to drive growth and improve daily life through technological advancements and innovations in finance, addressing key issues like cybersecurity. This year’s conference will also feature a new E-sport event to highlight technology’s impact and inspire youth interest in tech careers.
On the first day of the conference, PNCC will present updates on the 5G Open RAN project to upgrade and expand Palau’s nationwide mobile network.
