President,EBRD

The President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Odile Renaud-Basso, will visit Mongolia from 6 to 10 October 2024 for meetings with senior government officials in the country’s capital Ulaanbaatar.
Ms Renaud-Basso will also sign several private projects in the agribusiness and sustainable construction sectors.
During her meetings with officials, Odile Renaud-Basso is expected to discuss cooperation between the EBRD and Mongolia, and the importance of renewable energy, regional connectivity, green economy financing and sustainable mining for the country’s long-term development.
To date, the EBRD has invested almost US$ 2.6 billion in Mongolia’s economy through 149 projects.
