UPU Announces  Full Programme For The Celebration Of International Women’s Day 2025

The Universal Postal Union (UPU)  has announced the full line-up for its online celebration of International Women’s Day 2025, taking place on 12 March 2025, Cyber Era NG learns.

The programme is coming  under the theme: “Empowering finance: How Posts and fintechs can advance digital financial inclusion for ALL women and girls”

As the main event highlight, the UPU will unveil its latest research, “Post-fintech partnerships to overcome gender inequality through access to postal digital financial services,” offering fresh insights into how collaboration can drive real impact.

The UPU has also announced the Speakers for the event:

Opening remarks  will be delivered by UPU Director General and International Gender Champion (via video recording) Masahiko Metoki. Others include:
