With 17 new 5G commercial contract wins in the third quarter, Finnish telecoms gear maker Nokia on Friday claimed to have won 100 commercial 5G deals with individual customers and a total of 160 commercial 5G engagements, including paid trials.
This week, Nokia signed a 5G equipment deal with British telecoms operator BT and renewed a 5G deal with Finland’s Elisa.
“With this next stage of our successful relationship with Nokia we will continue to lead the rollout of fixed and mobile networks to deliver stand-out experiences for customers,” had said CEO, BT Group, Philip Jansen on the new deal.
While CEO at Elisa, Veli-Matti Mattila had said, “I believe we will have exciting years ahead creating new solutions to meet our customers’ needs, also in the field of private networks, ultra-low latency services, and massive IoT.
