NTRA Egypt, Multichoice SA Join IIC MENA Digital Transformation Insights

The International Institute of Communications(IIC) has announced more speakers for its digital transformation webinar taking place March 23-24  at 1100 AST / 0900 CET / 1000 EET / 1200 GST.

The webinar aims to build the regulatory/policy skillsets so that everyone benefits as the MENA region emerges from the  coronavirus(COVID-19)pandemic.

Director-General of IIC , Lynn Robinson in a communication available to Cyber Era,  says Head of National Projects Sector, National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) Egypt says Dr. Fadel Digham is the latest speaker to join its discussions on March 23 alongside CRA Qatar, INT Tunisia and CITC Saudi Arabia.

According to her, Head of Policy Analysis and Research (Regulatory Affairs), Multichoice SA, , Aynon Doyle, will be sharing experiences around digital broadcasting and OTT developments across Africa in its panel on March 24, alongside regulators from Morocco (HACA), Tunisia (HAICA) and Turkey (RTUK), as well as a European view from Cullen International.

Industry experiences will be represented by a panel comprising major regional players and IIC members:

  • Head of Government & Industry Relations, Middle East & Africa Ericsson, Ali Cheema
  • Vice President, Regulatory and Market Access Inmarsat, Zeina Mokaddem
  • Chief Legal and Regulatory Officer Etisalat Group, Kamal Shehadi
  • Head of Government & Policy Affairs Middle East & Africa Nokia, Dr Brahim Ghribi
  • Senior Legal Counsel, Middle East, Africa and Turkey Avaya, Iman El Banna Kaiss
  • Senior Director – Regulatory Affairs Ooredoo Group,  Dr Bharat Vagadia
