Alok Srivastava has joined Vodafone Idea (Vi) as Vice President to head the Enterprise Business for North and East circles, his LinkedIn profile update revealed.

Srivastava has previously held roles and responsibilities such as Assistant Manager-Sales, in addition to Business Manager, Senior/Deputy Manager – DSA Sales, Senior manager – Postpaid Sales, Deputy General Manager, Head, Retail Business, VP – National Retail Operations, and recently as Business Unit Head & Country Head For Storage Services, as per his Linkedin profile.

He joins the list of new executive appointments by the telco, including Shabnam Syed who has been recently onboarded as executive vice president of postpaid marketing to bring high-value customers to its network.

Reema Jain has taken charge as the telco’s Chief Digital Officer and Tanuja Rai Pradhan as Head- Consumer Insights.

Vi also appointed Sanjay Jolly as Executive Vice President (EVP) – Technology, Hub Operations.

The third-largest telco has seen a number of high-profile executives exiting the company in the previous months, including ex-CTO Vishant Vora, former legal head Kumar Das, ex-brand officer Kavita Nair and chief technology security officer.

At the same time, it has attracted senior-level professionals as well. For instance, Jagbir Singh joined as the new CTO. It also appointed Vivek Jain as the executive vice president of marketing and Mathan Babu Kasilingam as executive vice president of technology security.
