• As Speakers List Expands

With preparations for this year’s virtual edition of the IIC’s annual LatAm & Caribbean Telecom & Media Forum  holding Tuesday 6 – Thursday 8 July 2021 Time: 10:00 EDT / 15:00 BST, reaching an advanced stage, the organisers have announced the expansion of the speakers’ list and confirmed that Director, Telecommunication Development Bureau at the ITU, Doreen Bogdan-Martin  and CEO, Millicom Mauricio Ramos  will be delivering  the keynotes.

Information from the desk of the Director-General of IIC, LynnRobinson, which Cyber Era NG sighted, says Bogdan-Martin  will give her address at the Regional Regulatory & Ministerial Roundtable on  July 6 which is a closed meeting focusing on evolving roles, responsibilities and priorities for closing the digital divide.

LatAm & Caribbean Telecom & Media Forum  will once again bring together speakers and delegates from across the regions to discuss the big policy and regulatory issues of the day. Courtesy of the  partnership  which the IIC forged with the Inter-American Development Bank, there will be English, Spanish and Portuguese simultaneous translation this year, to maximise accessibility.

Across the 3 days, NRAs and government will then be joined by industry and civil society in a series of panel debates focusing on Connectivity, Spectrum, Content, Digital Markets and Cybersecurity.
