SPI/FilmBox has reached 1 million subscribers to its FilmBox+ service.
The streamer, which is available via 10 major European operators and launched in February 2021, offers hundreds of hours of content and 10 linear channels. Content is available in 12 languages including English, Polish and Czech, with plans to integrate Russian and Korean soon.
The company said that it has aspirations to reach more than 700 operator partners around the globe.
The service is currently available via web, and on devices including iOS Android, Apple TV, Android TV and Samsung and LG Smart TV devices. Chief Marketing Officer at SPI International, Haymi Behar said: “The service currently boasts a catalogue of over 5.000 titles ranging from movies to lifestyle content, offering around 8.000 hours of riveting programming. We are working around the clock to acquire new, premium content spanning all genres from major global distributors, including local titles for different territories to add to our FilmBox+ streaming service.
