German service provider Tele Columbus, which operates under the PŸUR brand, has extended and expanded its long-term partnership with Canal+-owned M7 Group. The new agreement enables PŸUR to continue to supply its cable customers with the range of M7 Deutschland channels.
The operator said that the range of pay TV channels and foreign language packages that M7 delivers helps it deliver a competitive cable TV product.
The feed to the company’s cable headend throughout Germany is delivered via the established satellite platform from M7.
M7 and PŸUR also agreed to intensify their marketing campaigns and to further expand their products and services in order to offer viewers an even better TV experience, Tele Columbus said.
“We have a successful partnership between PŸUR and Tele Columbus that goes back to 2008, when we launched the first independent satellite platform to supply cable networks with digital TV channels – a milestone. We are proud that Germany’s second largest cable network operator continues to rely on M7 for wholesale products – and thus on channel variety, reliability and quality,” said managing director of Eviso Germany GmbH, the M7 business partner in Germany, Marco Hellberg.
“With its technical platform services and a wide range of target group-specific pay TV and international program packages, the continued cooperation with the M7 Group enables us to market an attractive channel line-up in our distribution area. We are delighted to be able to continue the successful collaboration of the last few years with M7 Group ,” said chief consumer officer at Tele Columbus, Stefan Riedl.
