rlaxx TV Picks Publica For CTV Ad Serving

By Jonathan Easton

Germany-based ad-supported streaming service rlaxx TV has announced a partnership with CTV ad platform Publica.

The operator will work with Publica to provide advertisers with ad break controls and the ability to reach audiences with TV-like ad experiences when streaming.

Publica promises to help publishers deliver an improved ad experience and maximise revenue with a unified-auction between multiple SSPs. It said that rlaxx TV will be able to provide advertisers with buying techniques commonplace with linear TV.

rlaxx TV is currently available on approximately 85% of smart TVs in Austria, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Switzerland, Spain, New Zealand, Australia, Turkey, and the United Kingdom, with plans to launch in the US in Q1 2022.

Co-Founder and CEO, Publica, Ben Antier said: “We’re excited to collaborate with rlaxx TV, delivering premium content to their growing audiences in EMEA and beyond. Through this strategic partnership, rlaxx TV can access the ad decisioning technology required to grow their global CTV advertising revenue, empower advertisers with additional controls, and improve the streaming experience for their audiences.”

CEO and founder, rlaxx TV, Ronny Lutzi said: “We are thrilled to work with Publica as a strong ad serving partner. Now, we can assure SSPs have a seamless connection to our premium CTV inventory and increase our yields.”
