Payments giant Visa said in a press release on recently that it has launched a crypto advisory practice aimed at helping the firm’s clients and partners ‘advance their own crypto journey’.
The company said its own research showed that awareness of crypto among financial decision makers surveyed is ‘near universal’, at 94 per cent around the world.
“We’ve seen a material shift in our clients’ mindset in the last year, from a desire to explore and experiment with crypto, to actually building a strategy and product roadmap,” said Head, Visa Consulting & Analytics, Europe, Claudio Di Nella.
Visa has recently taken steps into crypto, with the company going so far as to purchase its own CryptoPunk NFT (non-fungible token) in August this year.
