Entertainment tech solutions provider Amino has completed the certification for its R180 set-top box.
The RDK Video Accelerator, carrier-grade set-top box allows the RDK community to quickly develop, test, and deliver innovative services. It simplifies consumer access to live, local, linear and OTT content and provides access to the Metrological App Store.
The R180 is powered by the next-generation Amlogic S905X4 SoC chip incorporating a high-end GPU to allow UI designers to create a user experience without performance concerns.
CEO, Aferian Group, parent company for Amino, Donald McGarva said: “Our customers see the advantages of selecting Amino as the backbone of their hybrid Pay TV and OTT service offerings.
