RTL’s new combined ad sales house and ad-tech company RTL AdAlliance has named Iris Ostermaier global as chief financial officer, effective January 9.
Ostermaier will report to Stéphane Coruble, CEO of RTL AdAlliance, the outfit that was formed through the combination of RTL AdConnect, G+J iMS and Smartclip’s sales and media businesses, creating an international media sales house for RTL Group and premium publishers.
Ostermaier has 20 years of management and leadership experience in media, with a focus on finance and commercial processes. Between 2010 and 2019, she was part of the management team of the auction shopping channel 1-2-3.tv first as CFO, and from 2012 additionally as CEO. At the beginning of 2019, she started as CFO of the production company Bavaria Film.
Coruble said: “With the appointment of Iris Ostermaier as global CFO of RTL AdAlliance, we are taking the next step in further strengthening the top management team of our newly created company.
