Having spent the past months working with MTI Consulting on its new business strategy, Tata Tele Business Services has retained the consultancy for the next execution-focused phase of the project.
India-based Tata Tele Business Services has concluded its strategy refresh, working in conjunction with MTI Consulting to explore the company’s future growth opportunities and direction.
“In order to effectively execute the strategic initiatives arising from the strategic plan, we have retained MTI Consulting,” said CEO of Tata Tele Business Services, Harjit Singh.
To underpin its strategic work, MTI Consulting helped the management team of Tata Tele Business Services define its strategic pillars based on the firm’s so-called 8S model.
This proprietary model is a planning framework comprising eight steps across the full lifecycle of the strategy process, with each step represented by an ‘S’, namely scope, scan, sights, strategy, systems, structure, staff, and sustainability/social responsibility. The analysis of these eight dimensions paves the way for the creation of an overarching strategy.
Reflecting on the continuation, the CEO of MTI Consulting, Hilmy Cader, remarked, “Tata Tele Business Services is one of India’s leading business models for the fast-growing SME segment – not just in telecom, but across the enterprise domain. It is a great experience for MTI Consulting to work in such a dynamic domain, with a set of committed, multi-disciplinary professionals.”
Tata Tele Business Services is a provider of connectivity and communication solutions for businesses. With services ranging from connectivity and collaboration to cloud, security, internet of things, and marketing solutions, the Mumbai-based company offers one of the largest portfolios of ICT services for businesses in India.
MTI consulting is an Asia-focused management consulting firm with two offices in India – one in Mumbai and the other in New Delhi. The consultancy has been active in India for over a decade.
