Australia-based property developer Meriton disclosed a data breach to 1,900 customers and staff members, The Sydney Morning Herald reports. Meriton said the cyber incident potentially affected financial, health and employment information of employees, while guest contact information may also have been compromised.
Reuters reports Australian consumer finance firm Latitude Group Holdings announced hackers stole information from 7.9 million Australian and New Zealand drivers’ licenses. Also caught in the hack were 53,000 passport numbers and more than 6 million customer records retained between 2005 and 2013.
