Canopy SDA Celebrates Grand Opening Of Albury Brolga Manor With Federal Member For Farrer, Sussan Ley, And Albury Mayor Kylie King

Canopy SDA has announced the official opening of Albury Brolga Manor, the first property built to provide a home for six local Albury residents living with disabilities under the Specialist Disability Accommodation Programme. The grand opening ceremony will take place on the September 18, 2023, at 1:00 pm, at the impressive 499 Alldis Avenue, Lavington.

Federal Member for Farrer and Deputy Opposition Leader, the Honourable Sussan Ley, who has been serving as the Member for Farrer since 2001, will be a distinguished guest at this momentous occasion. Additionally, Albury Mayor Kylie King will join the celebration, highlighting the significance of this event for the local community.

Albury Brolga Manor represents a significant milestone in Canopy SDA’s mission to provide exceptional living spaces for individuals with disabilities. The innovative home has been meticulously crafted to adhere to the Passivhaus design principles, prioritizing sustainability and fostering an environment where residents can live as independently as possible, opening doors to newfound possibilities.
