The companies aim to advance safe transportation solutions in the country as part of the SafeRoute-6G project
Ericsson Research Türkiye and Türk Telekom have announced a strategic collaboration to drive 6G research and development (R&D) at Türk Telekom’s 6G R&D and Innovation Laboratories.
Unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2025 in Barcelona, Spain, the first concrete step is taken by jointly participating in the SafeRoute-6G project, which focuses on safe transportation using 6G, within the scope of cooperation to advance 6G innovation together.
Both companies will actively participate as stakeholders in the SafeRoute-6G project, approved by the Eureka CELTIC-NEXT cluster, an international platform that promotes research and development of advanced technologies. The project aims to enhance transportation safety by leveraging next-generation 6G capabilities.
