Ericsson Names Andrea Missori As New Head of Customer Unit South East Mediterranean And Eurasia

Andrea Missori takes on the role of Head of Customer Unit South East Mediterranean and Eurasia as of 1 June 2023 – in addition to his role as Managing Director of Ericsson in Italy.
Missori is responsible for Ericsson’s business in 24 countries stretching over three continents, with some of the world’s most advanced communication service providers as customers.
Missori has been with Ericsson for more than 20 years, most recently as Head of Global Customer Unit Telecom Italia and Country Manager of Ericsson Libya.
Andrea Missori is appointed the position of Head of Customer Unit South East Mediterranean and Eurasia for Ericsson
As of 1 June 2023, Andrea Missori will take over the position of Head of Customer Unit South East Mediterranean and Eurasia for Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) – in addition to his role as Managing Director of Ericsson in Italy. Based in Rome, he will lead the business with customers customers in 24 markets stretching over three continents, in a geography that includes some of the most advanced operators in the world.
His agenda primarily revolves around implementing cutting-edge and sustainable solutions for networks modernization, supporting operators in realizing 5G monetization opportunities, and empowering Ericsson people by continuously enhancing their skills.

Andrea Missori has been with Ericsson for more than 20 years with sales, delivery and general management responsibilities, leading large organizations in major technology transitions across different geographies. Since 2022, he was Acting Head in South East Mediterranean and Eurasia. In September 2022 Andrea Missori has joined the Executive Board of the Italian Association of Telecommunications Companies (Asstel) as Vice President.
Missori is 48 years old, holds an Executive MBA from the University of Bologna and a degree in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico of Bari.
