Seoul, Republic of Korea(ROK) otherwise, referred to as South Korea, is the host of the International Institute of Communications(IIC’s)Asia Forum, taking place between 11 and 12 February 2025.
Information obtained over email from the Director-General at IIC, Ms. Lynn Robinson says: “The Asia Forum’s 2025 location is proving to be a popular one with our regulatory members from the region – Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Mongolia, Cambodia have already registered and we know others are in the process of doing so.
The opportunity to share and compare approaches to evolution in regulatory governance and structures at the breakfast roundtable will be an excellent start.”
At the Forum the IIC is looking forward to meeting new faces from the TMT industry members and from civil society.

Sessions on Tuesday, February 11, focus on digital infrastructure, investment, inclusion, cybersecurity and AI governance while on Wednesday February 12, the focus is on creative content, trust, online safety and disinformation.

The Forum is held under the Chatham House Rule; there will be simultaneous translation Korean/English for the entire event
