Men-Space Missions has appointed Matthew Angling as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the use of new technologies and processes to develop innovative space products for its customers.
Matthew joins In-Space Missions where he was Director of Space Weather at Spire Global. He has extensive experience in space-ready C4ISR, space technology and space environments, previously he led the ionosphere modeling team at QinetiQ and was Head of the Space Environment Group at the University of Birmingham. rice field. Matthew has a master’s degree in physics from the University of Oxford and a PhD in electrical engineering from the University of Leicester.
Matthew Angling said, “I look forward to driving the use of new space technologies and space-scope applications for spacecraft and helping scale up the production process for cluster launches. I will work closely with the team here. As a result, we will further develop our flexible approach to delivering complex, innovative and diverse missions, enabling our customers to get their technology on track faster.”

Matthew Angling takes over the CTO role from In-Space Missions co-founder Tony Holt, who has been appointed to the new role of Chief Sales and Innovation Officer.
The new appointment comes as In-Space Missions has expanded its business, adding 40 new staff members last year and opening new offices and cleanroom space at its headquarters site in Alton, Hampshire.
