ITS Releases Dates For Its Webinars Of 2025

The International Telecommunications Society has announced that the first of its online events will take place on January 14, 2024 starting at 07:30 MST, 09:30 EST, 15:30 CET, and 23:30 JST/KST.

The theme of this webinar is: Digital Connectivity and Urban Mobility: The Future of MaaS and Autonomous Vehicles.

Featured guest speakers include prominent Canadian academics Dr. Betsy Donald and Dr. Shauna Brail and award-winning journalist John Lorinc.

The Academic Host is Queen’s University and the Corporate Host is TELUS Communications.

The second ITS webinar of 2025 will focus on Broadband and Climate Action: Why Digital Policy is Climate Policy.

It will be held on January 28 starting at 07:30 MST, 09:30 EST, 15:30 CET, and 23:30 JST/KST.

This unique session brings together leading academics and industry representatives including Professor Dr. Monika Köppl-Turyna (EcoAustria), Dr. Wolfgang Briglauer (EcoAustria) and Joe Rowsell (TELUS) to explore how telecom can drive climate action. This event will be hosted by EcoAustria and TELUS Communications.
