The International Telecommunications Society (ITS) has announced it is rescheduling the first of its three earlier planned webinars with the theme: Digital Connectivity and Urban Mobility. Initially built for January 14, the webinar has been moved to March 2024.
The foregoing is according to a headsup from Don Romaniuk of the ITS Secretariat.
The new date is yet to be announced.
The information from the ITS Secretariat reads: “As you may recall from earlier reminders, ITS has lined-up three webinars for the first quarter of 2025.
“Unfortunately, it has become necessary to reschedule the first of these webinars — Digital Connectivity and Urban Mobility — from January 14 to March of this year. Details of the new date and time will be circulated as soon as they become available.
“In the meantime, our other two earlier-announced webinars will proceed as planned. All relevant details, including registration information, are summarized below.
“What will now be the first ITS webinar of 2025 will focus on Broadband and Climate Action: Why Digital Policy is Climate Policy.
It will be held on January 28 starting at 07:30 MST, 09:30 EST, 15:30 CET, and 23:30 JST/KST.
“This unique session brings together leading academics and industry representatives including Professor Dr. Monika Köppl-Turyna (EcoAustria), Dr. Wolfgang Briglauer (EcoAustria) and Joe Rowsell (TELUS) to explore how telecom can drive climate action. This event will be hosted by EcoAustria and TELUS Communications.

It will be held on February 18 starting at 07:30 MST, 09:30 EST, 15:30 CET, and 23:30 JST/KST.
This webinar will feature distinguished guest speaker Professor Rob Frieden of Penn State University. The webinar will be hosted by Penn State University and TELUS Communications.
