Telecommunications sector referee, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has notified all its licensees about their obligations under the Licensing Regulations 2019 to update  it with any changes in their addresses and other contact details within seven (7) days of such occurrence, Cyber Era NG learns.

According to a public notice on the Commission’s website  November 26, 2024, and e-signed by the Director of Public Affairs(DPA) at NCC, Reuben Muoka, this is important for ensuring effective regulatory oversight and maintaining communication with the licensees.

Accordingly, the Commission hereby requires licensees to update any changes to the following information via its eServices platform accessible at https://eservices.ncc.gov.ng on, or before January 9, 2025:

  • Physical address of the principal place of business (including postcode, geographic coordinates and landmarks)
  • Mailing address (if different from the physical address)
  • Email addresses
  • Telephone numbers
  • Names and details of contact personnel

“Please note that where a licensee cannot be located at its given physical address, appropriate sanctions will be applied. For further information, please contact: licensing@ncc.gov.ng,” the NCC stated.
