South Africa can have nice policy on paper but it is useless if the country can’t provide electricity, Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana said on Thursday.
Godongwana added during a meeting with the country’s delegation to the World Economic Forum in Davos that the government wanted problems associated with struggling state utility Eskom resolved as soon as possible, including by sorting out its debt-laden balance sheet.
