Voia Raises US$3M In Pre-Seed Funding To Develop AI Technology For High-Quality Videos

A startup based in Sunnyvale, CA, Voia, has secured US$3 million in pre-seed funding for its AI-based technology that aims to empower users to create professional-grade videos. The investors behind this funding round have chosen to remain anonymous.
With the newly raised funds, Voia plans to expand its operations and increase its business reach. The company was established in 2022 and currently employs a team of 14 individuals located across the United States.
Voia was co-founded by a group of experienced professionals, including Avner Braverman, who previously served as the co-founder and CEO of Reshuffle (acquired by Twitter). Mitch Singer, another co-founder, has over two decades of leadership experience, including roles as CTO within Sony Pictures. Haim Helman, co-founder and CTO of Octarine (acquired by VMWare) and co-founder of XIV (acquired by IBM), brings his expertise to the team. Noam Malali, an AI and computer vision expert, and Bryan Barber, who held the position of VP Digital Initiatives at Warner Bros, are also part of the Voia team.
Voia offers an app that enables video creators to enhance the quality of their content. By utilizing advanced AI capabilities, the app can generate high-quality visual effects comparable to those seen in Hollywood productions.
The pre-seed funding round marks a significant milestone in Voia’s journey to democratize video production quality. With the support of their investors, the company is well-positioned to expand its offerings and continue developing innovative technologies for video creation.
